A Monthly Book Review Publication

I cannot ask for a better start to 2018 than completing this book.

Whatever You Think Think the Opposite

Although I bought it last year but somehow I am thankful that I just finished reading it.

Paul Arden has beautifully yet effectively put forth his point of view. It is not like any other motivational book that has bombarded the market. I am one of those people who have refused to read many best selling motivational/inspirational books beyond page number 1. simply because bulk of those books are just rantings with good publicity campaigns and boring to the bone.

But this book got me hooked. The book is full of anecdotes from real life historical success stories with blunt questions directed at audience.

Many pages and illustrations have just cemented my resolutions. I know in the days and years to come, this book will be my companion with many highlighted lines to actually motivate me and remind me to keep on choosing the paths which are less travelled by.

One page in the book goes like:

I want means: if I want it enough I will get it.

Getting what you want means making the decisions you want to make to get what you want.

Not the decisions those around you think you should make.

Making the safe decisions is dull, predictable and leads nowhere new.

the unsafe decision causes you to think and respond in a way you hadn’t thought of.

And that thought will lead to other thoughts which will help you achieve what you want.

Start taking bad decisions and it will take you to a place where others only dream of being.

And the snippets of practical advice continue to follow and ends with this:

A small book full of practical wisdom.

It is a must read if you really want to set your priorities straight.
